This is the Stellar Ambassador Program Handbook—where you can find all ambassador related answers and guidance. This community is made to empower passionate individuals to make a real impact within the Stellar ecosystem and beyond! As an ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to work with local chapters, organize events, lead educational initiatives, and connect developers, businesses, and users with essential resources for building on the Stellar network.
Our program is open to all who share this passion, and it thrives on the contributions of a diverse, global community. To create a welcoming, productive environment, we ask all ambassadors to commit and agree to Stellar’s Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
If you are interested in joining, fill out this questionnaire, and the SDF Program Manager will rout you to the regional chapter for your area.
Afterward, reach out to your local Chapter President to request the Ambassador role on Discord. This role will ensure you receive important announcements, event details, and meeting updates specific to your chapter.
Members of a local chapter can choose to participate in various ways. They are encouraged to:
Talk to your Chapter President! Presidents select what events to fund each month. They also need to collect a PDD form from all event hosts, so make sure you fill one out and get approval before making any event plans.
It’s up to the Ambassadors and the Presidents to follow our branding guidelines. We offer templates and custom illustrations for you to use on all swag as well as promotional material across social media.

If you are interested in becoming the president of an unrepresented region, reach out to the program manager on Discord. A president must be an active community member with strong technical knowledge of the Stellar Ecosystem. From there you will be given the opportunity to grow your regional community to 30+ active people in a month or less. If you do this and meet all Eligibility Requirements, you can lead your regional chapter as president.
